About Our Founders

Viv Burrough works with individuals and organisations to think clearly, lead well, and grow through both opportunity and challenge. A big-picture thinker with deep experience across education, health, and business, she brings strategic insight alongside a practical understanding of how organisations really work.
Viv has held senior leadership roles including CEO of a private hospital, Senior Advisor and Statutory Manager at the Ministry of Education National Office, and HR Manager. In education she has designed and written literacy programmes aligned to multiple curricula internationally, giving her a rare perspective across systems, sectors, and contexts. She has incorporated into her work very rewarding front line coaching of students years 5-11 in literacy and writing.
Her coaching of adults began in 2004 across multiple organisations (health, education, construction, manufacturing and sales) and continues today, growing and supporting new and experienced leaders who are navigating change, reflecting on direction, or strengthening their impact. Sessions focus on judgement, confidence, and the behavioural shifts needed to create lasting personal and organisational change. Viv’s work is thoughtful, grounded, and focused on long-term outcomes.
With a Master of Education and a Graduate Certificate of Professional Coaching, Viv is well placed to support others in doing their best thinking for themselves, their teams, and the organisations they lead.
